UNDERSTANDING ISRAEL AND THE MYSTERY OF PEACE
Israel is right at the heart of God's purposes and at the centre of world events. Rising from what seemed an impossible situation, Israel became a state in 1948, only 3 years after the end of the Second World War. For such a small nation geographically so much has and is being said, fought over and disagreed about. Why? What is the significance of the land and the people? What has this got to do with the church and the purposes of God?
Kingdom Faith has had growing relationships with many leaders, congregations and ministries in Israel over the last few years. We believe it is vital for the church in the UK to understand God's heart and purpose for Israel and how we, the church, are part of that. The only way to really discover this is by going to Israel, meeting the people and encountering firsthand what God is doing there.
We will travel around the Holy Land using the Bible as our guidebook; walking in the footsteps of Jesus and the prophets; understanding the past, present and future role of Israel in God's purposes. On the way we will visit some of the congregations and humanitarian aid organisations Kingdom Faith is working with, including prayer ministries. Everywhere we go we will focus on what God is doing in Israel and Middle East in the area of reconciliation between Jew and Gentile (Arab). In addition we will try to understand modern Israel and the spiritual, social and political pressures she faces.
It's important for people to know that these are not just ordinary tours - rather they are unique because we go seeking answers to one question - what is God doing in Israel today? In seeking answers to that question we meet with local believers - both Jews and Arabs.
Jonathan and Helena Croft along with Julia Fisher will be leading the tour.
Below you will find an overview of the places the tours plan to visit, with exact itineraries finalised nearer the time. As we travel we will be meeting with Jewish and Arab believers and hearing their stories to find out what God is doing in Israel today.
